Co-authored LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Company’s 2021 Women in the Workplace Report, the largest and leading annual study of women in corporate America surveying 65,000+ employees and 400+ companies. Managed analysis of 24 qualitative interviews, analyzed quantitative data, wrote endnotes and citations, assisted with data visualizations, and ensured data accuracy for interactions with press and media. Youngest of 12 report authors, a group including five McKinsey partners, Lean In’s CEO, and a Stanford expert in the field of gender research.

Conducted background research on various topics for new content, oversaw one programmatic impact study and assisted with others, and analyzed findings from internal Women in the Workplace survey used by firm leadership to implement shifts in company policy/culture.

Worked with Dr. Joyce Klein-Rosenthal, MPH, PhD in her research on lead levels in the United States. Built survey for government administrators to determine environmental lead levels and data availability in major cities. Researched and compiled information on regulation structures and barriers to policy change at all levels of government.

Westchester County Climate Crisis Task Force

Led a team of five undergraduates working on community-based solutions to food access issues in Westchester County. Created and managed work plan to keep team on track, oversaw data collection and mapping, and resolved intra-team conflict. Wrote executive consultancy report for clients and suggested next steps towards reducing food scarcity. Presented findings to clients and community stakeholders, as well as at Columbia symposium, and received positive feedback.

Center for WorkLife Law at UC Hastings

Worked end-to-end on a consulting project exploring gender and racial bias in lawyers’ performance evaluations. Coded, analyzed, and visualized quantitative and qualitative data to reveal trends in biases using R, Dedoose, and Excel. Wrote report of findings and suggested new best practices directly to Center founder Joan Williams, an expert in the field. Craft Tweets about the need for breastfeeding accommodations for Breastfeeding Month and Black Breastfeeding Week.
